Staff Exchange Program welcomes USP ACIAR Graduate Officer to UniSC

University of the South Pacific Graduate Officer Mr Josevata Cava travelled to UniSC as part of the Staff Exchange program for knowledge sharing on HDR scholarship administration, candidature milestones and student support. The staff exchange program is designed to facilitate skills and knowledge sharing between partner universities and provide opportunities to build global networks. Josevata is spending time with UniSC’s PASS-CR Program Coordinator, Dr Linda Wess, learning about the HDR journey at UniSC from the team in the Graduate Research School, navigating the UniSC HDR research toolkit with the Liaison Librarian, and hearing about the induction program and support available for students from the Student Services and Engagement team.

Josevata says “the staff exchange trip has been an eye-opening experience and I am confident that the discussions held with the team from UniSC will play an instrumental part in the support I provide to the PASS-CR Scholars when I return to Fiji”. He also hopes that the experiences and information sharing with the UniSC team will add value to the University of the South Pacific’s plan to grow the newly established Graduate School.
